My sister and I went for a run late yesterday morning before the official opening of the Bluffton Street Fair, and we thought it would be fun to finish up with a run down the main drag  of the fair. Trouble was, I didn’t notice the cables that had been laid down across the street and I went flying.

Landing hard on asphalt is much less fun than landing on a trail, especially with a bunch of onlookers to grade your landing. But I came out of that much better than I initially thought, just bloodied up a wrist and elbow and banged a knee a little bit. At least I’m not to the point where I have to worry about breaking a hip in a fall…
