A kid’s point of view: Smoky Mountain hiking fun!

Tennessee  was so much fun.  I went on EVERY hike, which was pretty grueling.

First on Sunday was chimney top, and that was the hardest by far. Monday was rainbow falls which was coming in hot for second place because it was really long and you had to climb over rocks. After that was laurel falls and that was easy.(not to mention the babies came along so that perked everyone up.) Wednesday we did grotto falls which was fairly easy. It was also neat because we could go behind the falls. Thursday we were at the river rocks so we did not go on a hike but we did see two bears. Friday was cades cove and we saw a mother and two cubs on the way there, a mother and three cubs hiking to Abram’s falls, and another one coming back from cades cove.

Some non-hiking highlights from the trip are that there was a midnight fourth of July parade.  At the parade me and ben and my cousins riley  and max played kips and Riley and I went undefeated. My favorite trip to Gatlinburg, by far!

That rainbow falls hike is no joke! Beautiful though. Nicely done!
